After 16+ hours of flying, I finally arrived safe in Mombasa around midnight. After a crash course in Swahili this morning I was escorted around the area to get “oriented”. I’m not so good with directions and was largely distracted by how beautiful it is here to really get very oriented. I had lunch with a bunch of the students who are already here and have found them all to be warm and friendly. Tomorrow is my first day at the hospital!
